Introducing Lexi - an 8.5 year old pint-sized silver Siberian Husky who is a little princess. Lexi loves the luxuries of life - she is an indoor/outdoor girl who's favourite place is relaxing on a couch, a chair or on her own plush bed.

Lexi is independent at first - but then is your number one fan once you have won her over. She would thrive with a family who will give her time to settle in, show strong leadership and include her in their daily activities. She's equally happy to go walking with you or to relax watching TV. Lexi is a dainty and smiley girl who is fun to take out - she loves her walks - she's eager and attentive when she's out with you.

Lexi has lived with cats and another older dog previously. She is good with cats (and doesn't chase her feline friends like many arctics would!) - she even happily shares her bed with them. She could be OK in a single-dog home as long as she's a valued member of her humans day to day lives. She may also be OK with a friendly, easy going male dog who isn't daunted by her occasional diva bossiness. She does tend to guard things so will need to be fed separately, be shown leadership and would benefit from further training. She'd love a family with no young children - one with arctic breed experience.

Lexi comes when called and sits, she's very gentle when taking treats and will occasionally do an excited bunny hop for rewards. She loves playing with toys especially plush ones and ones that squeak to make you laugh.

Lexi is crate trained and will put herself to bed in her crate - she is very well mannered inside and could possibly suit a townhouse or apartment lifestyle as long as she is walked and can have a play outside every day. If you have a yard it doesn't need to be large and it's best with solid, tall fencing. She's quite a homebody but she may go exploring with inadequate fencing.

If you are arctic experienced and are looking to adopt a petite princess then please contact us about Lexi.

Medical notes

Lexi has been vet checked and is in good health.
