Malakai is a sweet malamute/husky boy who just loves attention. He is just starting to learn his manners but it’s not taking him long to understand at all. In the short time that he has been in foster he has already adjusted well to crate training and the rules of the household. He is getting along well with the other dogs but can be selective. Daily exercise, affection and being a part of the family is all this boy asks for. He has a bit of resource guarding which the foster carers are currently working on.

He is strong on lead and loves to walk and run and recently competing in his first sledding event and came fourth in bikejoring, not bad for a first timer.

Ideally best suited to a home  with older children as he is still very jumpy and can be homed with another dog, preferable a female dog.

No cats or small dogs, rabbits or chooks.
