Introducing our lovely big 7.5 year old Alaskan Malamute pair Nanuk and Narla. This adorable pair are closely bonded and affectionate with both you and each other. They enjoy their cuddle-time and would make amazing companions to a mallie experienced family.

Nanuk is a massive black and white gentle giant with striking golden eyes. This divine love-bug's passions in life include receiving your affection and following Narla around like a love struck puppy. Nanuk is a super-sized lapdog who sits on your feet or lays in your lap and gazes up at you with twinkling eyes. He loves being the centre of attention, sits nicely and adores squeaky toys so much he howls at you to throw them.

Narla is smaller in size - she's a pale orange and white fluff-ball with golden eyes. She is content to let Nanuk steal the lime-light and to watch from the side lines until it's her turn for pats. Narla takes longer to warm up to new human friends but once she knows you she is affectionate. Narla is an independent gal who does her own thing with Nanuk trailing along as her shadow.

Between them Nanuk and Narla have a lot of weight and strength behind them therefore they need a family who is strong enough to walk them together. They both walk ok on lead together despite their size but will need further lead training especially when walking around other dogs. They can be selective with dogs outside their little circle.

Nanuk and Narla are looking for a home where their new family is experienced with the Malamute breed. They have previously been outdoor only dogs so will need to be taught indoor manners and toilet training so they can come inside for family time. They'd both benefit from training and boundaries with their new family to help them settle into their new life with you. They are best suited to an environment with no young children, cats, small dogs or pocket pets. They may be OK with dog-savvy older kids or teenagers who have lived with mallies before.

If you love your pooches big and feel you are ready to commit to these big woolly bears then please contact us for more information on Nanuk and Narla.

Medical notes

Nanuk and Narla have been vet checked and appear in good health.
