10 month old Male Alaskan Malamute

Handsome young Odin is looking for a breed experienced family to call his own.

Odin is a happy young fella who is full of energy and desperate to be in a home again.

As he is young he does need someone who will be able to put the time into training him. At present he can be quite boisterous so will not be suited for a home with children under teens.

Once he calms from the initial excitement of new people he will sit and shake nicely and very much enjoys a chest rub or two.

Like most young Malamutes Odin will need help to learn to walk nicely on lead, not jump up at people and be calm under distraction.

We are not sure if Odin has lived with other dogs in the past but he may be ok with a friendly female companion of similar size. He would need a meet and greet with any potential furry family members to be sure.

Odin will need a home who can commit to daily exercise, twice daily would be even better. He will need 6ft secure fencing and a home without cats, chickens or other pocket pets.

If Odin sounds like just what you have been looking for then you can contact the shelter directly regarding adoption.
